We purchased our condo in November of 2015, and had a month for our contractor and Kitchen Nation to renovate the unit before we moved in. Our building was constructed in 1993, and to be honest, we don’t think there was ever a real update to it. So we gutted the kitchen down to the studs, removed a small pantry to give the 2nd bedroom a spacious walk in closet, and really streamlined the design of the kitchen to maximize the space for us with tons of storage. We went from drab and gross, to classy and sophisticated, a kitchen worthy of a magazine cover. Our island is approx 8′ x 4′ for an idea of size. Our cost doesn’t include the cost of the Granite for both the counter tops and floor tile, or the appliances we purchased from Sears (price matched to CAS). Lighting fixtures above the island and kitchen table and chairs were also purchased
